Ruben Amorim, the new Manchester United head coach, has delivered an ominous warning to fans despite an unbeaten start to his tenure.
While the Portuguese manager has overseen three positive results, including a stunning 4-0 win over Everton, his recent comments suggest the weight of the job has made his pragmatic already.

Ahead of United's trip to Arsenal, Amorim expressed concerns about the challenges ahead, cautioning supporters that "a storm will come." Speaking at his press conference, the 39-year-old acknowledged that his team is still adapting to his methods and hinted at struggles to come.
"I would like to say different things, but I have to say it again: the storm will come," Amorim admitted.
"We are going to have difficult moments, and we will be found out in some games. I know that because I know my players and I know football. We're putting simple things in place right now, but we're not there yet," he added.
Amorim's understanding of the challenges of managing one of the world's biggest clubs looks to have started reflecting already. While his side has made a solid start under his leadership, the former Sporting Lisbon coach seemed apprehensive about the inevitable scrutiny and setbacks that come with the role.
Amorim also admitted to being surprised by the demands of coaching Manchester United, describing the role as far more than just tactical preparation.
"A little bit [surprised], because you don't know what life is like in this kind of club. You have to do so much more than coach the team. You have less time to prepare for games, not just because of the schedule, but because of all the other responsibilities," he added.
While fans may be buoyed by his early results, Amorim's words suggest he is aware that tougher days lie ahead. The trip to Arsenal on Wednesday could provide the first significant test of his mettle as he navigates the unforgiving world of Premier League management. Whether he can handle the storm or buckle under the pressure remains to be seen.
