Manchester United Pre-Season 2024-25: Schedule, Complete List of Fixtures, Results

Manchester United has already made their step into the 2024-25 season as the Red Devils have started their pre-season.

The Red Devils won the FA Cup last season but had a disastrous league campaign where they finished 8th in the Premier League table. Erik Ten Hag and his men will be aiming for a much better campaign this season.

Man United have already played one of their pre-season friendlies which hasn't brought about the best result. They will in total play five pre-season friendlies this season before the Community Shield match against Manchester City. The Red Devils start their campaign with a home match against Fulham on August 16.

Manchester United Pre-Season 2024-25

Manchester United's fixture list consists a match against Rosenborg in Norway. Then they will be up against Rangers in Edinburgh in another friendly clash. After that, the Red Devils are set to travel to USA for the pre-season. The Red Devils are set to play Arsenal, Real Betis and Liverpool in the tour before the Community Shield match against Manchester City.

Rosenborg vs Man United

In the first match of the pre-season, Manchester United suffered a defeat at the hands of Norwegian club Rosenborg. Although it was not the strongest squad, Erik Ten Hag had the likes of Casemiro, Mason Mount, Marcus Rashford in the lineup but the English club lost 1-0. Noah Holm scored a 93rd-minute winner as Man United started the 2024-25 season preparations with a defeat.

Rangers vs Man United

Manchester United secured their first victory of the preseason with a 2-0 win over Rangers. Leny Yoro and Jadon Sancho were featured in the match for the Red Devils. Amad Diallo and Joe Hugill scored the goals for them.
