Manchester, November 21: Manchester United are ready to renew their interest in frozen out Chelsea star Willian in January.

Jose Mourinho wanted to reunite with the Chelsea winger in the summer but the move did not materialize in the end but as per reports, Mourinho is keen to add the Brazil international to his squad.

The 29-year-old is yet to start in the Premier League this season and Mourinho wants to use this situation in his favour as he wants to reunite with the player he managed at Stamford Bridge.

According to reports in England, the Red Devils will make a swoop for Willian in the winter transfer window should his situation remain the same.

And with reports linking Chelsea to Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura, Willian’s situation could turn worse.

Manchester United made a successful raid on Chelsea in the summer as they lured Nemanja Matic away to Old Trafford and could make another raid for Willian in January.

Willian is a fan favourite at Chelsea but it is a shame that he has been used mostly as a substitute by Antonio Conte since he arrived at the club.

As per reports, Chelsea would like to ship the Brazilian away to Chinese Super League if any good offer comes but the presence of Mourinho makes things difficult for the Blues.

Willian, Chelsea's Player of the Season in the 2015/16 campaign, has been restricted to just 21 minutes in his last three league games.

And with the World Cup looming in the summer, he knows he has to be playing regular football to be included in Tite's Brazilian squad.

Speaking to Football Focus recently, he said: "Of course I want to play every game, but I respect every decision because we have great players in the squad, so you have to respect Conte’s decision.

"But every player wants to play."

We have to wait and see what awaits Willian and Chelsea in January but there is a significant chance of Chelsea fans seeing one of their favourite players leaving for Manchester United yet again.
