Manchester United set to sign Ajax prodigy Justin Kluivert

London, Feb 5: Manchester United are in talks to land Ajax's next rising talent Justin Kluivert, according to reports.

The youngster, son of Barcelona and Ajax legend Patrick, is setting the Dutch league alight with five goals and two assists in 13 starts in Eredivisie.

Just the age of just 18, he is set to follow in his father's footsteps and rise to the very top.

United Boss Jose Mourinho knows both Justin and Patrick well from his time as coach at Barcelona.

The United gaffer worked as a coach under the legendary Bobby Robson when Patrick joined the Catalan giants.

According to the Mirror, he has since taken a close interest in Justin's development on the field and is ready to lure him to Old Trafford in the summer.

Reports in England claim that United could part with an initial £10million plus future incentives to land the tricky forward.

Ajax, by some, distance, are the best football academy in world football and Justin Kluivert is the next big thing coming out of the Dutch side's famed academy.

The youngster made his first-team debut at the age of just 17 and has represented the Netherlands at every youth level but awaits his first senior cap.

Justin was also part of the Ajax side that lost their Europa League final to United last year before Mourinho made a beeline to the forward to offer some reassuring words.

The youngster is capable of playing on either flank but is more comfortable on the left flank.

Boasting a very good technique and dribbling ability, he can also play in the number ten role and could play in that role for many years to come.
