Manchester United Set To Host Sunderland In Women's FA Cup Quarter-Finals Next Month

Defending champions Manchester United will welcome Sunderland for the Women's FA Cup quarter-finals on 8-9 March. The draw was held at Wembley Stadium, with key fixtures announced.

Manchester United, the current Women's FA Cup champions, are set to face Sunderland from the second tier at Leigh Sports Village in the quarter-finals next month. The draw took place at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday, with matches scheduled for the weekend of 8 and 9 March. United secured their spot by defeating Wolves 6-0 in the fifth round.

Sunderland remains the only team from outside the Women's Super League still competing in the cup. Meanwhile, Chelsea will host Crystal Palace, who currently sit at the bottom of the top division. Manchester City, having beaten Leicester City 3-1 in their previous match, will face Aston Villa in another all-WSL encounter.

United to Face Sunderland in FA Cup Quarter-Finals

Liverpool is set to visit Arsenal for their quarter-final clash. Arsenal boasts a record of 14 victories in this competition and recently defeated London City Lionesses 2-0 to advance. The final match of this year's tournament will be held at Wembley Stadium on 18 May.

Last year, Manchester United claimed their first major trophy by triumphing over Tottenham with a decisive 4-0 victory at Wembley. This year, they aim to defend their title and continue their successful run in the competition.
