Manchester United are currently struggling under new coach Bruno Amorim as they sit 14th in the Premier League.
The Red Devils suffered their latest defeat at the hand of Wolves, who beat them 2-0 on Boxing Day at the Molineux. United also saw their captain Bruno Fernandes getting sent off, which means the Portuguese will not be available for the next league match against Newcastle.

With the January transfer window approaching, United manager may well be eyeing for some potential replacements. Marcus Rashford has been left out of the squad and the England international is likely to leave the club in January. Amid this, the club will be looking to bring in at least a couple of players.
As per Tuttomercatoweb, Manchester United are reportedly set to intensify their interest in Atalanta and Brazil midfielder Ederson. The 25-year-old has caught the eye of the Old Trafford hierarchy with his dynamic performances in Serie A. However, Atalanta are adamant they will not sell Ederson in January and have set a hefty asking price of at least €60m (£50m). United may have to wait until the summer if they wish to secure his services.
PSG are keeping a close watch on Marcus Rashford, but the French giants are reportedly unwilling to meet Manchester United's £50m-£60m valuation due to the forward's hefty wages. Rashford, who is believed to earn over £300,000 a week, remains a key player for United, and it seems a move to Paris may not materialize unless compromises are made.
Manchester United are also monitoring France forward Randal Kolo Muani, who currently plays for PSG. According to Sky Sports Germany, the 26-year-old is attracting interest from multiple clubs, including Liverpool, Tottenham, and RB Leipzig. With PSG's squad depth and Kolo Muani's versatility, United may see him as a valuable addition, but they face stiff competition for his signature.
