Manchester United Transfer Rumours: Who Could Be the Next Three Signings for Man United this Season?

Manchester United are actively reshaping their squad for the upcoming 2025-26 Premier League season under the guidance of head coach Ruben Amorim, with the summer transfer window serving as a pivotal chance to resolve last season's deficiencies.

After an underwhelming 2024-25 campaign, the club aims for reinforcements in defence, attack, and midfield to fit Amorim's tactical philosophy and contend for a UEFA Champions League spot.

Amorim is concentrating on recruiting energetic, adaptable players who thrive in his favoured 3-4-3 setup. With the recent acquisition of Matheus Cunha for £62.5m from Wolves, United are targeting players who offer versatility and depth in key roles. The club's transfer war chest, potentially boosted by sales of names like Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford, permits calculated spending.

Man United Transfer Rumour: Top Three Possible Signings for Manchester United for the Upcoming Season

Corentin Tolisso: To strengthen midfield frailties, Manchester United have entered discussions with representatives of Lyon's 30-year-old midfielder Corentin Tolisso. The 2018 World Cup champion adds creativity and experience, elements United have missed since Christian Eriksen's exit and Casemiro's dip in form. Financial issues at Lyon could see Tolisso depart for a reasonable amount, with reports indicating he's receptive to joining the Red Devils. His blend of tempo control and defensive contribution fits Amorim's demand for a composed midfield axis.

Bryan Mbeumo: Brentford's attacking standout Bryan Mbeumo continues to top Manchester United's wishlist. The 25-year-old Cameroonian forward has long been a focus, with talks escalating in the past 48 hours. United's recent proposal of £55m plus £7.5m in bonuses was rejected, as Brentford insist on receiving closer to £65m. Mbeumo's return to Brentford's pre-season camp on July 14, 2025, hasn't deterred United, with insiders suggesting a deal could materialise before the week wraps up.

Nicolas Jackson: Manchester United are also pursuing Chelsea's 24-year-old striker Nicolas Jackson of Senegal. Given Chelsea's recent signings of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, Jackson's position could come under threat, making him a feasible option. United's interest aligns with their demand for a quick and powerful striker, especially with Marcus Rashford's future uncertain. Jackson's speed, strength, and 14 Premier League goals last season make him a valuable candidate to support Cunha and Rasmus Hojlund.

These targets, Bryan Mbeumo, Corentin Tolisso and Nicolas Jackson, would reinforce key zones like wide offence, midfield stability, and attacking power, all in harmony with Amorim's tactical style. Bringing in Jackson might also finally answer their long-standing need for a striker.
