Manchester United will play their final Champions League group stage match on Tuesday as they welcome Bayern Munich at the Old Trafford.
It hasn't been a happy hunting ground for Manchester United as the Red Devils are currently languishing at the bottom of their group. With just a solitary victory in their first five matches, United have accumulated only 4 points.

After the first five group stage matches, Bayern Munich have already qualified for the knockout stages with 13 points in five games. On the other hand, FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray both have five points after playing the same number of matches and are sitting 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The Red Devils are just behind them at the bottom with 4 points but the good news for Manchester United is that, despite being at the bottom, going into the final day, they can still emerge and qualify for the knockout stages.
Manchester United's continental campaign can take three turns and all will be dependent on the final match day results. Here are the three possibilities for the Old Trafford outfit-
That is the only scenario for them to qualify for the Champions League knockouts this season. They will have to somehow grind out all three points to give themselves any chance of qualifying in the knockouts. But a win won't be enough if either Galatasaray or FC Copenhagen get a result in their match.
Given the form of Manchester United this season, it will be an uphill task for them. The Premier League outfit will take some confidence from their fighting defeat in Munich where they were at the wrong side of a 7-goal thriller.
