Manchester City to make 50 million pound bid for Fabregas

By Super Admin

London, Apr 11(ANI): Manchester City is reportedly preparing to break the British transfer record with a sensational 50 million pound bid for Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas.

According to reports, the club's owner, Sheikh Mansour, has authorized City's move for Fabregas during a meeting with key personnel this week.

City now have a "1-2-3 wishlist" of world class targets that is topped by Fabregas, followed by Liverpool striker Ferdnando Torres and Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Although Fabregas has made it clear that he wants to return to Barca, if he quits Arsenal, City have been undeterred after taking initial soundings.

City did business with the Gunners last season for Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure, but their move for Fabregas would be on a different level, The News of The World reports.

Meanwhile, Barcelona has made it clear that they intend to pursue Fabregas this summer. (ANI)
