In ManU fans eyes, Ronaldo has gone from hero to zero

By Staff

London, July 14 : In the eyes of Manchester United supporters, Portuguese striker Ronaldo has gone from hero to zero.

A majority of the fans are reportedly fed-up over Ronaldo and FIFA chief Sepp Blatter's "slave" comment.

As one supporter Johnny Hampton moaned: "The fans are slaves, not the players. I haven't finished paying for my trip to Moscow yet for the Champions League final and I'll have to work every weekend until September to do so."

"It takes me seven years to earn what Ronaldo does in a week. He is a great player, but the time's come for him to go," The Sun quoted him, as saying.

Other fans, who swamped Internet sites, urged United to "bleed dry" Real Madrid - the club the 70-million-pound rated Portugal star, 23, says he wants to join.
