Tottenham Hotspur Women have announced Martin Ho as their new head coach for the upcoming 2025-26 Women's Super League season. Ho, who hails from Liverpool, previously worked as an assistant coach at Manchester United and Everton. His managerial journey began in Norway with Brann, where he achieved significant success.
Ho's tenure at Brann was marked by notable achievements. Under his leadership, Brann became the first Norwegian team to reach the Champions League group stage in the 2023-24 season. They advanced to the quarter-finals, finishing second in their group behind Lyon but ahead of Slavia Prague and St. Polten.

Before joining Tottenham, Ho spent time at Manchester United under Casey Stoney starting in 2020. He continued there for two more years after Marc Skinner took over in 2021. Seeking a fresh challenge, Ho moved to Norway to manage Brann, where he made a significant impact.
During his time with Brann, they reached the Champions League quarter-finals but were defeated by Barcelona with an aggregate score of 5-2. In domestic competitions, Brann finished second to Valerenga in the 2024 Norwegian Toppserien and were runners-up again midway through the 2025 season.
Ho has signed a three-year contract with Tottenham, who are looking to improve after a disappointing previous season. The club finished 11th in the Women's Super League last year, winning only five out of 22 matches. This was their lowest finish since being promoted to the league in the 2018-19 season.
The upcoming Women's Super League season is set to commence on September 6, with fixtures being announced on July 25. Tottenham will be aiming for a better performance under Ho's guidance as they seek to climb up the league standings.
Under previous coach Robert Vilahamn, Tottenham also reached the FA Cup final in the 2023-24 season but lost to Manchester United. The club is now looking forward to a fresh start with Ho at the helm.
The appointment of Martin Ho marks a new chapter for Tottenham Hotspur Women as they aim to rebuild and achieve greater success in both domestic and European competitions under his leadership.
