Mary Earps is eager to secure more trophies with Paris Saint-Germain after departing Manchester United. The goalkeeper spent five years at United, contributing to their first-ever FA Cup victory in May. Despite this, the team finished fifth in the Women's Super League last season, trailing 20 points behind champions Chelsea.
Earps joined PSG as a free agent in July, signing a two-year contract. PSG finished as runners-up in the Premier League last season and will compete in the Women's Champions League for the sixth consecutive year. Earps acknowledged that leaving Manchester was tough but expressed her excitement for new opportunities.

"I cannot wait. I'm so excited to get going," Earps shared on the Tooney & Russo show. "It was a tough decision to make because I was there [at United] for so long and I have great relationships with people, so you don't just pick your life up and move on a whim."
Earps' most notable achievements have been with the England national team. She played a key role in their European Championship win in 2022 and earned the Golden Glove at the 2023 World Cup, where the Lionesses reached the final. These accomplishments highlight her significant contributions on an international level.
Reflecting on her career, Earps said, "I've been fortunate enough to have a really good few years and win a few trophies, and it's just a feeling that's hard to explain because people think she's won some silverware, she's done. But it's like an itch you can never scratch enough."
During her last season with United, Earps started all 22 Women's Super League matches, achieving seven clean sheets and making 60 saves. Her departure from United came alongside captain Katie Zelem and forward Lucia Garcia, both of whom also left on free transfers.
The move to PSG offers Earps a chance to play for a top team in major competitions. "The opportunity to play for a great team in top competitions, being in a position to win silverware," she noted. "I'm looking forward to doing that and hopefully adding a few trophies to the cabinet."
The goalkeeper's transition marks a new chapter in her career as she aims for continued success with PSG.
