Matheus Cunha will become a Manchester United player at the end of the season, as per reports. The Brazilian was wanted by the Red Devils and he has reportedly agreed a deal to join them.
As per Sky Sports, Man United have triggered the release clause of £62.5 million and Wolves will have to let go of their talisman. Although the move is imminent, the final acts will be concluded after the conclusion of the season.

Cunha has been a target for Man United and is having a wonderful season. The former Atletico Madrid player has netted 15 goals in the league so far and is highly wanted by Ruben Amorim. As per the Sky report, many other clubs were also interested in Cunha but the Brazilian chose to join United.
Cunha is expected to play his final game for Wolves next Sunday as the Premier League season concludes. If things go as planned, he will join in Manchester United's preseason tour as well. The Red Devils have had a woeful season in the league, but they have a chance to win a major trophy as they play Tottenham in the Final of the Europa League on Wednesday.
Manchester United have triggered the release clause of 62 million pound for Cunha, which means they will have a direct talk with the player.
As per some reports, Matheus Cunha may pen a deal till 2030 and will earn around £200,000 per week at Old Trafford.
Cunha joined Wolves from Atletico Madrid on loan in 2023, before making a permanent switch in the 2023-24 season. The 25-year-old has played 90 times for the Midlands club so far, scoring 33 goals. He has also played 13 times for the Brazil senior team. Interestingly, earlier this season, Cunha scored a goal and had an assist as Wolves beat Man United 2-0 at the Molineux.
