Meghalaya to play football in National Games
Shillong, Feb 7: Meghalaya football team has qualified to play in the 33rd National Games football event in Asom after the favourite Goa football team withdrawal in the last minute.
Meghalaya Football Association Secretary B Diengdoh said, 20 players have been selected to represent the state.
He said two prominent strikers - Marlangki Suting and Rockus Lamare will represent the state following their engagement with National football team.
Hering Shangpliang will be the main coach of the football team.
