Mesut Ozil makes Remarkable Promise to Tottenham ahead of Manchester City Clash

Former Arsenal player Mesut Ozil has given Tottenham a remarkable condition ahead of their Manchester City match tonight.

Tottenham Hotspur are set to play Manchester City at home in a crucial Premier League match.

The outcome of the match will directly impact Tottenham's quest for the Champions League, but it will have a much larger impact on Manchester City and Arsenal.

If Tottenham loses to Man City, Pep Guardiola's men will reclaim the summit spot in the PL points table, and will have the advantage to win the league with a solitary match remaining in the season.

On the other hand, if Tottenham win or get a point off City, the advantage will then transfer to Tottenham's biggest rivals Arsenal. The North London will be united in cheering Tottenham today, but it is to be seen how far the Lilywhites can resist the in-form Man City side. It will also keep Tottenham in the hunt for a UCL spot next season.

Amid this, former Arsenal player Mesut Ozil has vowed to not make fun of Spurs anymore if they win the match against Manchester City tonight.

"First time ever tonight: COME ON YOU SPURSSS!! If Tottenham don't lose this game I will never make fun of them again... I promise," Ozil wrote on his X profile.

There are speculations that a section of Spurs fans may be cheering for Manchester City in order to stop Arsenal from winning the league, but their coach Ange Postecoglou had different things in mind.

The Australian coach said the his team will only take the pitch in intention of winning the match against Manchester City, despite their fans' alternate wishes. It is going to be a massive encounter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium today, as the whole world will be watching at Spurs, albeit for their local rivals.
