Michail Antonio Undergoes Surgery For Lower Limb Fracture After Road Traffic Accident

West Ham's Michail Antonio has had surgery on a lower limb fracture after a road traffic accident. He is currently stable and will be monitored in hospital.

Michail Antonio, a West Ham player, recently underwent surgery for a lower limb fracture. This followed a road accident on Saturday. The club confirmed his stable condition in hospital. On Sunday, they updated that the 34-year-old had surgery and will stay in the hospital for further checks.

The club expressed gratitude to the football community for their support since the incident. They also thanked emergency services and medical staff for their immediate response and ongoing care for Antonio. "Everyone at the club wishes Michail a speedy recovery," stated West Ham.

Antonio Surgery Following Traffic Accident

Antonio has been an active participant in all 14 of West Ham's Premier League games this season. Despite his absence due to injury, West Ham is set to face Wolves on Monday, continuing their league campaign.
