Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta pointed out three key performers in their pre-season friendly win over Manchester United in the USA.
The Gunners registered a 2-1 victory over Man United at the Sofi Stadium and thus continued their unbeaten start in the pre-season campaign.

Rasmus Hojlund gave the Red Devils a shock lead after 10 minutes, but Gabriel Jesus restored parity in the 26th minute. Gabriel Martinelli then scored a fantastic winning goal ten minutes from time for the North London club. Arsenal were beaten in the post-match shootout though as they succumbed to a 4-3 loss.
But it was a nice preparatory outing for the teams and the Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was very pleased with his boys. He spoke at length on the goalscorers and also acknowledged the performance of youngster Ethan Nwaneri.
Martinelli joined Arsenal in USA after his extended break for international duties with Brazil. The Arsenal forward had just one training session before his exposure against the Red Devils.
"That's the mentality of the team and individuals - one training session and he comes in and plays at that level. That means that he's [Gabriel Martinelli] not coming here to get prepared, he's come prepared to show where he is and that's a very different approach and I loved it," Arteta said on Martinelli.
Arteta also hailed Nwaneri for his performance and said he may give the teenager more minutes against Liverpool in the next pre-season match. Gabriel Jesus was also excellent in the match and the Spanish manager spotted his sparks.
"He [Gabriel Jesus] looks really good, he looks really sharp. He's changed a lot of things over the summer and he's come back in top condition again. When you have that baseline, other things can be built but without that foundation we don't have a player and he needs to be in that condition to get the best out of him," Arteta added.
