Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Mikey Moore, a promising young player, has signed a new long-term deal. Currently on loan to Rangers for the 2025-26 season, Moore celebrated his 18th birthday on Monday. Last season, he played 21 matches for Spurs across all competitions, scoring once and assisting twice.
Moore made history by becoming the youngest player since Stephen Carr in 1993 to start a Premier League game for Tottenham. This milestone occurred during their narrow 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace last October. Additionally, he netted his first senior goal in Tottenham's 3-0 victory over Elfsborg in the Europa League group stage.

In January, Moore achieved another significant milestone by becoming England's youngest scorer in a major European competition. At just 17 years and 172 days old, he surpassed Jimmy Greaves' record of 17 years and 245 days set in October 1957 against Lausanne-Sport.
Despite these achievements, Moore has yet to make an appearance for Rangers under manager Russell Martin since joining them on loan earlier this month. However, he has represented England's Under-19 team nine times.
The club expressed their excitement about Moore's contract extension through an official statement. They congratulated him and wished him success for the upcoming season while on loan at Rangers.
Moore's journey from youth football to breaking records highlights his potential and talent. His performances have not only earned him recognition but also set high expectations for his future contributions both at club level and internationally.
