Tijjani Reijnders was the star as Milan claimed their first Champions League victory this season, defeating Club Brugge 3-1. Christian Pulisic opened the scoring for Milan in the 34th minute with a remarkable goal directly from a corner. Shortly after, Brugge's Raphael Onyedika received a red card following a VAR review for a foul on Reijnders, leaving his team with ten players.
Despite being down to ten men, Brugge managed to equalise after halftime. Kyriana Sabbe found the bottom corner with a precise low shot. However, Milan regained control when Reijnders scored in the 61st minute with an easy finish near the penalty spot. He then secured the win with another similar goal ten minutes later.

Francesco Camarda nearly added another goal for Milan late in the match. His header over Simon Mignolet was ruled offside after a VAR check. This win moved Milan up to 18th place, while Club Brugge dropped to 24th, though both teams remain in play-off positions.
Camarda made history by becoming Milan's youngest player in the Champions League at just 16 years and 226 days old. He also became the youngest Italian to play in this competition, surpassing Moise Kean's record of 16 years and 268 days. If his disallowed goal had counted, he would have been the youngest scorer ever in the tournament.
The day belonged to Reijnders, who joined an elite group of Dutch players by scoring twice in a single Champions League match for Milan. Only Marco van Basten and Clarence Seedorf had achieved this before him. Van Basten scored four goals against IFK Goteborg in 1992, while Seedorf netted two against Shakhtar Donetsk in 2007.
