Massimiliano Allegri is optimistic about Luka Modric's impact on AC Milan. He believes Modric will enhance the team's technical skills as they aim to improve from last season. Modric's performance in the 2024-25 season was notable. He made 57 appearances for Madrid, contributing to 13 goals with four goals and nine assists. This was his second-best season in terms of goal involvement, only surpassed by his 15 contributions in the 2021-22 campaign.

Despite playing fewer minutes than some teammates, Modric excelled in passing and chance creation. He completed 2,884 passes, ranking fourth among Madrid players. Only Vinicius Junior created more chances than Modric's 99 during the season.

Allegri is eager to see how Modric will elevate Milan's squad quality. "Modric will be important for us; he's a champion and will raise the technical level," Allegri stated. The coach aims to return Milan to the Champions League, acknowledging the challenge posed by strong competition.
