Mohammedan SC and Inter Kashi played to a 1-1 draw in a Group B match of the 133rd Durand Cup at the Kishore Bharati Stadium on Sunday. I-League champion Mohammedan Sporting secured a second-half equalizer to hold Inter Kashi FC.

Nikola Stojanovic gave Inter Kashi the lead with a fine solo effort from the top of the box in the 38th minute. Although the visitors had several chances to extend their lead, Mohammedan Sporting's defense kept them at bay.

After the break, Mohammedan Sporting made a strong comeback and equalized with a well-executed free-kick by forward Ashley Koli in the 67th minute, earning a point from the match.

Former champions Bengaluru FC secured a 4-0 victory over the Indian Navy Football Team (INFT) in a Durand Cup 2024 Group B match at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (VYBK). Rahul Bheke and Sunil Chhetri scored in the first half, while Jorge Peryra Diaz added a second-half brace.

Sunil Chhetri, a former India captain, came on as a late substitute to head in a corner, completing the scoring for Bengaluru FC. The Blues could have won by a larger margin if not for Inter Kashi goalkeeper Shubham Dhas, who saved substitute forward Ryan William’s penalty attempt in the 84th minute.
