Mohun Bagan have built a strong team ahead of the season in the summer transfer window. They've roped in some good domestic and international players, like - Apuia Ralte, Dheeraj Singh, Jamie Maclaren, Tom Aldred, Alberto Rodriguez, Greg Stewart, and more. All of them have already made their debut for the club in their Durand Cup matches.

In their most recent match, they won 6-0 against the Indian Air Force FT in the Durand Cup. In that match, newcomers Aldred and Stewart both scored one goal each. Even without the goals, their performance along with the rest of the team's in that match is enough to give hope to fans that the Mariners could do well in the ACL Two

Even with the ACL Two schedule out, all eyes are currently on the Durand Cup Kolkata derby set to be held on Sunday evening. The Mariners' derby rivals, East Bengal recently played their ACL Two qualifying against Altyn Asyr and lost that match but they still have the opportunity to participate in another AFC competition - AFC Challenge League.
