Mohun Bagan Super Giants' upcoming match against Inter Kashi in the Indian Super League has been deferred for a couple of weeks.
The club announced on Monday that the upcoming ISL fixture against Kashi has been rescheduled to 12 May, which was originally set to be played on 26th April.

The match has been rescheduled due to the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections. Specifically, polling is set for April 29 in the Bidhannagar constituency, which encompasses the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Kriranga - Kolkata's iconic 70,000 capacity stadium and one of India's largest sports venues.
With significant security forces redeployed to manage election duties, police personnel were stretched too thin to ensure the necessary safety protocols for the event, prompting the unavoidable postponement. The West Bengal elections will be held across two phases on April 23 and April 29, while the result is set to be declared on May .
Kashi, who were promoted to ISL this season, was supposed to play the Mariners on April 26, but will now face them on May 12.
MyKhel also understands that the upcoming ISL match on April 12 between Mohun Bagan and Punjab FC will be played with a limited capacity. As per the latest norm, MBSG have only been allowed to sell 15,000 to 20,000 tickets for the match, around one third of the total capacity at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan.
