It is all over in Kolkata and Mohun Bagan have continued their winning juggernaut in the ISL with a 1-0 win over Bengaluru. The home team dominated the entire match but only managed one goal as Hugo Boumous scored. Bengaluru finished the match with 9 men as Suresh Wangjam and Naorem Roshan were sent off. It is still no points for the Blues, while the Super Giants go to the top of the table with 6 points after two matches.
The corner yields nothing for Bengaluru and they almost conceded as Petratos made a terrific run, but ended up snatching his shot just off target.
Bengaluru have a corner. Can they score from it? That will be a Houdini for them.
The scoreline may suggest it was a close match, but it has been far from that. Mohun Bagan have absolutely dominated against a timid Bengaluru side, but still just one goal in it.
There was a swipe of the boot on Manvir Singh by Monirul Molla, luckily for the Bengaluru player the referee didn't see it.
Suresh Wangjam and Naorem Roshan will not be available for the next match against East Bengal.
Red Card for Naorem Roshan. A foul on Petratos and the referee had no option as the Bengaluru player was the last man. The away side is down to 9 men.
8 minutes added and Bengaluru are showing some attacking football now. It is strange why they sat deep for so long.
Bengaluru are trying to conjure something at this latter stages, but Mohun Bagan defense so far hasn't had any issues.
Kiyan Nassiri had a lot of open space and two players in Sadiku and Petratos to aim at, but his pass is intercepted by one of the BFC defenders.
A good effort from Keziah Veendorp but it just goes over.
Ryan Williams wins a corner off Manvir Singh. The Bagan player is not happy with the decision but the final touch came off him. But the visitors waste the set piece.
Subhasish almost his team there. A heavy touch the box gave the ball to Monirul Molla whose pass towards his teammate is crucially taken away. On the counterattack, Armando Sadiku hits one wide.
Kiyan Nassiri floats one ball aiming Hammill, but it is cleared by Jovanovic.
Mohun Bagan have the possession at the moment and they are looking comfortable in it. Meanwhile, Sahal Abdul Samad is taken off and Kiyan Nassiri replaces him.
Liston Colaco is Off for Mohun Bagan and Ashish Rai is On.
Hugo Boumous opened the scoring for the Super Giants.

It is a much difficult task for the away side now, especially after going down to 10 men.
Suresh Wangjam is shown a second Yellow and he is off. It looks like a harsh one as the player did nothing wrong there. Poor call from the referee.
Rohit, Javi, and Carneiro OFF for Bengaluru. Harsh, Ryan Williams and Sivasakthi On.
Twenty minutes to go in this match. Mohun Bagan are making some changes - Armando Sadiku, Glan Martins and Brendan Hammill On. Hugo Boumous, Anwar and Jason Cummings Off.
⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽ Goaaaaaal!! Hugo Boumous scores. A stroke of luck for Mohun Bagan as Manvir's cross was poorly cleared by a Bengaluru player. The ball came to Cummings who passed to Boumous, and the Bagan player made no mistake to slot it past Gurpreet.
A decent period of possession for the home team. They are passing around but all of their passes have been in front of the Blues defense. And that is not going to hurt them.
Suresh Wangjam shown a 🟨 for the foul. Petratos takes the free kick but his cross is awful as the first player on the defensive line clears it.
Anwar Ali was shown a Yellow for the foul on Roshan. On the other end, Mohun Bagan also win a free kick after a foul on Manvir.
A mesmerizing run from Roshan. He won the ball and drove forward, beating a couple of Mohun Bagan players, In the end, the run is halted by Anwar Ali who commits a foul.
Dimitri Petratos was close to taking a shot there, but Jovanovic closed him down quickly to save Bengaluru. Petratos got away from Parag with ease though and was running on goal, but Jovanovic did superbly to deny the Australian a clear shot opportunity.
Excellent show of strength by Suresh Wangjam. He wins the ball, shields it from Cummings and then wins a foul.
Bengaluru's defense stands tall again. Sahal and Boumous were in the heart of a move but Damjanovic wins the ball.
The inaugural match of the season saw Mohun Bagan Super Giant triumph over the recently ascended Punjab FC with a score of 3-1. Key contributions came from Dimitri Petratos and other team members, augmenting the success of the ISL's current champions. However, Bengaluru FC experienced a less fortunate opener, succumbing to Kerala Blasters in Kochi.
The Super Giants are unbeaten in seven matches and have won four consecutive matches across all competitions. Scoring three goals against Punjab FC, Mohun Bagan Super Giant currently enjoys the second-highest discrepancy between anticipated goals (1.79) and actual goals (three) in the ISL. As they prepare to meet with Bengaluru FC, coach Juan Ferrando hopes to preserve this winning streak, especially before a passionately supportive local audience.
