Carles Cuadrat unhappy with referee!

Kolkata Derby is taking to take place amid all the hullabaloo as the first tussle between the two Indian football giants in the ongoing ISL 2023-24 season. The venue is obviously the same old but always unique Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.
Both the teams, however, are well accustomed to each other as they have faced thrice already this season -- twice in Durand Cup and once in Kalinga Super Cup last month.
Following several underwhelming seasons, the squad began a new era when they signed former Bengaluru FC head coach Carles Cuadrat as their tactician. They qualified for the playoffs midway through the ISL season, advanced to the Durand Cup final, and now, finally, they have taken home a trophy that will allow them to play in Asia the next year.
Conversely, the Mariners entered the season with one of the best teams available due to their purchase of several high-profile players throughout the summer. However, they struggled in December due to injury concerns and other challenges, along with Juan Ferrando's departure and the return of a well-known player in Antonio Lopez Habas to the team.
This ISL season, Habas will be watching from the sidelines for the first time, and the Kolkata Derby presents the ideal chance for him to make an impression. Notwithstanding the early misgivings, the Mariners have the resilience to recover and end the season with a winning record.
The Mariners were determined to take one step further and maybe win the shield this year after winning the ISL title the previous year. Nevertheless, Ferrando was in certain respects failing to arrange things such that he could take full advantage of the advantages that each outstanding player on his team possessed. However, Habas has a track record of being a reliable client.
Being in charge of such a strong club means that he is familiar with the routine and the expectations that go along with it. Furthermore, Mohun Bagan Super Giant has chosen a player who can deliver results right away because they don't want to give up on their goals for this season.
