57' Nongdomba Naorem makes it 3-0 for Mohun Bagan! A slice of luck favoured the U-17 World Cupper as the ball ricocheted off Taison Singh into the box nicely for the golscorer following a poor clearance by an FCI defender. Naorem reached the ball first among his two nearby teammates and put the ball at the back of the net!
55' No clear cut chances for any of the teams in the second half as both sides have dropped intensity following the break!
53' Audacious effort as it came from some 30 yards. Lacked the power and accuracy to worry the FCI goalkeeper as the ball went out of play for a goal kick!

Mohun Bagan Super Giants are looking to go top of the points table in Group A once again as they face lowly Food Corporation of India FC (FCI) in their latest Calcutta Football League Group A match at the Mohun Bagan Ground in Kolkata on Thursday (August 10).
Mohun Bagan are on an unbeaten run in the 2023-24 season so far with seven wins in eight games, including two victories in Durand Cup 2023. With both tournaments running at the same time, the reigning ISL champions have fielded two different teams.
Head coach Juan Ferrando is leading the main squad in the Durand Cup while junior coach Bastab Roy is in charge of affairs in the CFL 2023 with youth development players. Roy, who has worked with East Bengal and ATK in the past in various capacities, has earned the praises of the management as well with the team exceeding expectations.
Likes of Suhail Ahmad Bhat, Lalrinliana Hnamte, Rana Bahadur, Raj Basfore, and Sumit Rathi among others have left a positive impression on fans as far as the future of the club is concerned. Both Bhat, Hnamte scored a hat-trick in CFL 2023 and were also picked for the senior team as well.
