It has been a roller coaster ride for the Kolkata giants in this ISL season. After an electric start, they suffered a sudden stutter which brought about the change in the managerial helm as Antonio Lopez Habas replaced Juan Ferrando. The former ATK manager will be hoping to stamp his authority and hosting the Nizams is the perfect match to settle the nerves.
The Nizams, on the other hand, are in a mess. The financial turmoil of the club leaves them in the mud. They are winless in the ISL and the last victory came back in August last year in the Durand Cup. Amid these adversities, coach Thangboi Singto has been relying on Indian youngsters as all of their foreigners except Joao Victor have left the club for non-payment issues.
