Mohun Bagan have replaced Kalighat at number three in the Group A points table! They are now the clear favourite to claim the sixth and remaining spot in the Super Six as they have a healthy goal difference of five over Kalighat. They now need to ensure that they don't lose to Diamond Harbour in their last game by a margin of six goals!

Mohammedan SC deservingly took the lead through Lalremsanga but Mohun Bagan goalkeeper Zahid was at fault for a howler. In his defense, Zahid's view for the cross by Lalremsanga was blocked by two players. However, Zahid made another mistake later in the game and was replaced by coach Baastab Roy five minutes before the half time. Nervy moment for Mohun Bagan throughout the half as they were under pressure in defense and couldn't keep their shots on target despite creating multiple chances to equalise!
