Ahmed Jahouh has been awarded the player of the match and not Sadiku. Makes little sense though as the two goals by the MBSG forward came after the hosts went two-nil down in the first 45 minutes!

Armando Sadiku collects Hero of the match for his two second-half goals after Ahmed Jahouh put Odisha FC forward with a two-goal lead in the first half. The Albanian said that if they had few more minutes, MBSG would have won the game tonight!

Mohun Bagan Super Giant are having revenge on their mind when they are hosting Odisha FC at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan or the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Wednesday (December 6).
Mohun Bagan lost by a massive margin of 2-5 at this very venue to Odisha FC in the continental second-tier tournament AFC Cup 2023-24 group stages. MBSG, however, are an unstoppable force in the Indian Super League with five wins in five games.
Their historic run see them just four points off the top of the table with four matches in hand as the defending champions seem destined to the top spot sooner or later. The Mariners have put together a talented team with lofty goals for both the home and continental circuits.
They would not want to make a mistake in the former at any cost, even though the latter might be a difficult situation. Ferrando emphasized that he wanted his boys to put up a strong fight against Hyderabad FC this weekend. But when this team takes on the Juggernauts, a sense of urgency and ruthlessness would really get them going and lift their spirits.
However, Odisha FC are a quality club, who are steadily becoming one of the teams to watch this year thanks to their stable of ISL champions, bright young players, and the strategic acumen of coach Sergio Lobera. On their day, their incredible offensive ability can cause problems for their opponents, but the Juggernauts also combine it with cunning maneuvers on both ends of the field to steal important victories when they're needed.
For example, in their most recent match against the Red Miners, Lobera started Roy Krishna instead of Diego Mauricio, who enjoys playing against Jamshedpur FC. What was the outcome? Odisha FC secured the three points with a goal from Krishna in the 56th minute.
