Fiorentina forward Moise Kean suffered a head injury during a Serie A match against Hellas Verona on Sunday (February 23).
The player was immediately sent to the hospital following a collapse on the field. Fiorentina lost the match as Hellas Verona scored a goal in the 95th minute.

In the second half, Kean collided with Verona's Pawel Dawidowicz, receiving a blow to the head. After initial treatment, he returned to play but soon collapsed on the field.
Medical staff attended to him, and he was stretchered off wearing a neck brace before being transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Fiorentina confirmed that Kean sustained head trauma and is undergoing tests. As of now, no further updates on his condition have been released.
"ACF Fiorentina announces that the footballer Moise Kean, during the match against Verona, suffered a head trauma. The footballer is in hospital for tests," a statement from the Italian club wrote.
MyKhel understands Kean gained consciousness on the pitch and when he was taken to the hospital, he was conscious. Although the latest official update is yet to arrive about his current health condition, fingers remain crossed for a speedy recovery.
The 24-year-old striker has been a prolific player for Fiorentina this season, scoring 19 goals across all competitions. Kean has played for the likes of Everton, Juventus and PSG in his career and has played 19 times for the Italy senior team as well.
This incident is the second major health scare for Fiorentina this season. In December, midfielder Edoardo Bove collapsed during a match against Inter Milan due to a cardiac arrest, leading to surgery and the implantation of a defibrillator.
