Thiago Motta remained tight-lipped about the possibility of a strike partnership between Randal Kolo Muani and Dusan Vlahovic. Juventus will face Como in Serie A on Friday, following their comeback victory over Empoli, where they won 4-1 after trailing. This win was crucial as it marked only their second victory in nine matches across all competitions.
Kolo Muani played a pivotal role in Juventus' recent success, scoring twice to turn the game around. The French forward has netted three goals in two matches since joining on loan from Paris Saint-Germain. If he scores again, he could become the first Juventus player to score in each of his first three Serie A appearances since the three points for a win era began in 1994-95.

Motta expressed confidence in Kolo Muani's abilities but believes there's room for improvement. "We were all convinced about [Kolo Muani]," Motta told reporters on Thursday. "[But] I am very convinced that Randal can still do better." The last player to score at least four goals in his first three Serie A games was Krzysztof Piatek for Genoa in 2018.
Despite Kolo Muani's impressive start, Motta did not confirm whether he would pair him with Vlahovic, who has been benched during the Frenchman's starts. Vlahovic has scored eight goals in 19 league appearances this season. Motta emphasised the importance of teamwork, stating that both players must contribute defensively and offensively.
"The most important thing is the collective," Motta added. "The team must function both defensively and offensively. We want to attack laterally when the others close up (and) bring three or four men into the opponent's area."
Juventus currently sits fifth with 40 points and will travel to face Como, who are 15th and just above the relegation zone. Como has managed only one win in their last five games under manager Cesc Fabregas. Juventus boasts an unbeaten streak of 22 Serie A matches against Como, with their last defeat dating back to January 1952.
Motta acknowledged Fabregas' attacking approach against big teams like Atalanta, AC Milan, and Roma. "Fabregas faces the big teams with courage and playing in attack," Motta said. "[I expect] a complicated match." He stressed the need for maximum concentration and determination from his team.
The upcoming match against Como presents an opportunity for Juventus to continue their dominance over this opponent while maintaining their position in the league standings.
