Mumbai City FC has made a significant addition to their squad by signing French midfielder Jérémy Manzorro on a free transfer following a standout season with Jamshedpur FC.
The 32-year-old midfielder, known for his trickery and vision in the attacking midfield, will be wearing the sky-blue jersey until the end of the 2024-25 season.

Manzorro's football journey began with Stade de Reims in France and saw him play in various leagues across the globe, including Bulgaria with PFC Slavia Sofia, Lithuania with FK Žalgiris, and Kazakhstan with Tobol and Astana.
His experience in elite European competitions like the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Europa Conference League, coupled with accolades like the Lithuanian Cup, the Kazakh Cup, and two consecutive Kazakh league titles, speaks volumes about his capabilities and experience.
In 2023, Manzorro moved to India to join Jamshedpur FC, where he had a standout season despite the club not reaching the playoffs. He made 24 appearances, scored six goals, and provided two assists during the 2023-24 season.
His ability to score from free kicks was notably highlighted when he scored twice in one match from dead-ball situations against Punjab FC, and his dramatic 97th-minute free-kick winner against East Bengal FC further solidified his reputation.
Manzorro's precise passes, creative flair, and silky footwork make him a valuable addition to the Islanders' squad. His signing has been met with enthusiasm from both the club and its fans.
Expressing his excitement about the move, Jérémy Manzorro said, "I have enjoyed my time in India so far and am excited to stay for another season. Mumbai City FC is one of the most successful teams in the ISL and has a history of winning titles. I can't wait to meet my new teammates and work with Coach Petr Kratky.
"I'm thrilled to start this new chapter in my life in the vibrant city of Mumbai and contribute to the club's success. My goal is to help the team achieve its objectives and bring more silverware to the club."
Coach Petr Kratky also shared his thoughts on the new signing, stating, "Jérémy is very skilful and has a deep understanding of the game, which is evident when he plays. His experience will be crucial for the team, and he will play a key role in the squad. We were convinced of his qualities during the course of the previous season, and I am excited to have him with us for the upcoming season."
