The Islanders are still without a point in Group D, which has made their start difficult. The Saudi Arabian behemoths, on the other hand, presently top the table with seven points. In their initial games of the season, Mumbai City FC lost to PFC Navbahor Namangan and FC Nassaji Mazandaran, 2-0 and 3-0, respectively.

Mumbai City FC are playing one of the biggest matches in their history as they host Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Monday (November 6).

The previous matchday, they lost 6-0 to Al Hilal in the rematch at King Fahd International Stadium, suffering yet another crushing loss. With an incredible hat-trick, Serbian attacker Aleksander Mitrovic etched his name all over that tie. Neymar Jr., the sensational Brazilian who missed the last match, is also out of the match and has not travelled to India with the team.

This season in the Indian Super League (ISL), Mumbai City's Scottish forward Greg Steward has tallied one goal and contributed one assist. He has one goal and three assists in the Durand Cup, raising his season total to two goals and four assists. Al Hilal would surely want to keep an eye out for Stewart because of his inventiveness and ability to get past defenses.

This season, Jorge Pereyra Diaz has been merciless, already tallying five goals in the ISL. In the Durand Cup, he has also scored five goals and given one assist. The Argentine's incredible form, which has seen him score 10 goals and provide an assist so far this season, will definitely keep the Al Hilal defense on its toes.

For Al Hilal, Alexander Mitrovic already possesses the potential to be a dangerous man ass their previous battle demonstrated. In addition to his four goals in the ACL, Mitrovic has nine SPL goals, two King's Cup goals, and three assists in the combined ACL and SPL. Mumbai City FC's foremost priority would be to stop him.
