The CISF Protectors stunned Indian Super League champions Mumbai City FC to secure their first win in a Group C match of the Durand Cup 2024 at Kishore Bharati Krirangan.
An early goal by Santosh Kumar and a late strike by Sahil Kumar sealed an impressive victory for the paramilitary team over the ISL side.

CISF took an early lead in the third minute when Bebeto's cross from the left found an unmarked Santosh at the far post, who finished perfectly to put his team ahead.
Mumbai City's young players struggled to find their rhythm and were forced to defend deep within their half. CISF dominated possession and posed a constant threat in attack. Santosh Kumar had an opportunity to double the lead, but his shot went wide.
