Germany's national football team, led by Julian Nagelsmann, secured a 2-1 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Nations League. Despite the win, Nagelsmann expressed a desire for his team to be more efficient in front of goal. Deniz Undav's two goals were crucial for Germany, although Edin Dzeko managed to score for Bosnia in the 70th minute.
Germany dominated possession with 73.1% and created numerous opportunities at Stadion Bilino Polje. They had an expected goals (xG) total of 1.81 from 12 shots, eight of which were on target. However, Nagelsmann believes his players need to sharpen their finishing skills before facing the Netherlands.

"We didn't start so well and kept the ball on one side too much in the first ten minutes," Nagelsmann noted. "When we adjusted that, it was good and we were dominant. Given our superiority, we could have scored more goals."
Germany currently leads Group A3 after three matches and will face the Netherlands next. They previously drew 2-2 with them last month. Nagelsmann is keen on improving his team's performance against a strong Dutch side.
Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen shared similar sentiments about Germany's missed chances. He was instrumental in creating four chances, making 36 passes into the final third, and having six touches in the opposition box.
"I think we made it difficult for ourselves. We could have won by a bigger margin," Wirtz commented. "Against the Netherlands we expect long balls to the striker."
Nagelsmann also pointed out defensive lapses that allowed Dzeko to score freely inside the box but praised his team's control afterward. The coach emphasized minimizing risks while maintaining dominance throughout the match.
As Germany prepares for their upcoming clash with the Netherlands, they aim to refine their attacking strategies and tighten their defense against a formidable opponent known for its high-quality play.
