Germany's national football team, led by head coach Julian Nagelsmann, delivered an impressive performance with a 7-0 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina in the Nations League. This dominant win in Freiburg secured their position at the top of Group A3. The Germans now lead by five points over the Netherlands, with one match remaining. This triumph marks Germany's largest win since Nagelsmann took charge in September 2023.
Florian Wirtz and Tim Kleindienst each scored twice, while Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz, and Leroy Sane also found the net. This victory offers Nagelsmann's team a chance to claim their first trophy under his leadership. Despite not advancing past the quarter-finals in the Euros earlier this year, the team has shown significant improvement.

Nagelsmann praised his team's performance, highlighting their effective counter-pressing and injury-free game. "We have no injuries from the game and our counter-pressing was extraordinarily good," he stated after the match. He noted that scoring seven goals against a defensively deep opponent was a notable achievement.
The coach emphasized their strategy of quickly regaining possession and transitioning forward, which they executed well against Bosnia-Herzegovina. "We wanted to win possession and then quickly play the ball forward, be quick in transition and find those runs," Nagelsmann explained.
Borussia Monchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst described scoring his first international goals as a dream come true. The 29-year-old made his international debut in October against Bosnia-Herzegovina with a 2-1 win. Reflecting on his performance at Europa-Park Stadion, Kleindienst said it felt easy after previous attempts to score.
"After trying [in the two previous games] to score, it turned out to be easy in the end," Kleindienst told RTL. He expressed excitement about achieving his goal-scoring dream on such a significant stage.
The match against Bosnia saw Germany create numerous opportunities in the first half alone. Kleindienst acknowledged that more goals could have been scored given their dominance during this period.
This resounding victory not only boosts Germany's confidence but also sets them up for potential success in future competitions under Nagelsmann's guidance.
