Napoli have bolstered their forward line by acquiring Noa Lang from PSV. Lang has committed to a five-year deal with the Serie A champions, with the transfer reportedly valued at 28 million. The 26-year-old winger spent two successful seasons at PSV, clinching the Eredivisie title in both years, including a remarkable comeback in 2024-25 when they surpassed Ajax's nine-point lead.
Lang's time at PSV was marked by significant contributions, as he made 63 appearances across all competitions. During his tenure, he scored 14 goals and provided 12 assists. Reflecting on his time at the club, Lang expressed gratitude: "After two seasons with two titles, it's time for me to take the next step in my career," Lang said in a goodbye message to PSV. "I'm grateful to everyone at and around the club who supported me from day one. I look back on a successful time in Eindhoven and wish PSV every success for the future."

In the previous Eredivisie season, only Ismael Saibari and Luuk de Jong had more goal involvements for PSV than Lang, who contributed to 21 goals (11 goals and 10 assists). Lang also led the league in shot-ending carries with 36 and shared the top spot for goal-ending carries with six, alongside Saibari.
The Dutchman becomes Napoli's third signing of this transfer window. He joins Kevin De Bruyne and Luca Marianucci as new additions to the squad. Additionally, Napoli are reportedly nearing an agreement to sign goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic from Torino.
Lang's move marks a significant step in his career as he transitions from Dutch football to Italy's top flight. His performances at PSV have set high expectations for his impact at Napoli. The Italian club aims to strengthen their squad further as they prepare for upcoming challenges.
