Nayanar memorial football tourney from April 14

Kannur, Apr 5 (UNI) Savopolo Brazil takes on Kerala X1 in the opening match of the second E K Nayanar Memorial Gold Cup football tournament here from April 14 to 29.

Organising committee Chairman, E P Jayarajan told reporters here that the competition would have eight teams including foreign clubs from Brazil, Argentina and Nigeria.

The tournament would be played on league-cum knock out basis.

Savopolo Brazil, Kerala X1, Sporting Goa and Muhammedans A C Calcutta, Bunes Ayers Argentina, Bayelso F C Nigeria, INSC Manipur and Air India are the teams in fray.
