Neymar, the range topper

Bengaluru, August 4: Brazilian Neymar moved from Barcelona to Paris Saint Germain for a record transfer fee - 222 million Euros.

This has triggered some wide talks about the rationality behind such a high fee. For Jose Mourinho, the deal was not expensive and for Arsene Wenger it was not "rational" at all.

But one thing is certain, the Neymar deal has changed the equations of football transfer market, considering it more than doubled the previous deal.

Till now, Paul Pogba's move to Manchester United from Juventus occupied the totem pole position with 105 million Euros.

In this context, myKhel.com looks at the top 5 transfer deals in the history.

Cristiano Ronaldo

4 Cristiano Ronaldo: 94 million Euros (2009)
Real Madrid did not think much after seeing the Portugal international's almost superhuman ability to score from any angle and by all leagal means - feet and head. Rest is history - truckload of goals and cabinet full of trophies.
