Despite dealing with a knee injury, Neymar's three goals in the 3-0 victory over Juventude propelled Santos to 14th place, just ahead of their final match against Cruzeiro. His contribution has been crucial, directly involved in six of Santos' last eight league goals.

The 33-year-old forward showcased his skills by scoring all three goals within 17 minutes in the second half. This marked his first hat-trick in three years and came at a critical time for the team. "As a player, today I thought that [Neymar] put on a very good show, especially in the second half, achieving the effectiveness that the team needed in a difficult moment," said head coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda.

Vojvoda praised Neymar's dedication despite his knee discomfort. "He is working day by day to play in each game, as he managed to do so. We know that he has a little discomfort [in his knee], but he's the type of player that gives us the confidence that, although he is not 100%, during the game he will perform."
