Bengaluru, September 12: Paris Saint Germain president Nasser al-Khelafi said the duo of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, who joined the club this season from Barcelona and Monaco, will make the club a force to reckon with.
"This is what we have been building for the last six years," he told the Daily Telegraph.
"The assets that we have today - even Neymar and Mbappe - they represent investments for the next eight to 10 years. Mbappe is 18 years old. He can definitely play another 15 years. Neymar can play another nine, 10 years. We will do our best to keep them as long as possible," said Khelafi.
Al-Khelafi said the arrival of Neymar has already reflected in the fortunes of PSG.
"Neymar is an international brand. Everybody is asking 'what's going on in France and in the French league? Neymar is playing for Paris Saint-Germain!' Even people who are not interested in football are saying that.

"Neymar's first match in Guingamp was broadcast to 183 countries. It was amazing for France and the French league. It is good also for the Champions League because you will have another club competing - I am not saying by any means we are there yet - but it's important to have new clubs coming and clubs with ambition."
