According to Santos' club president Marcelo Texeira, Al Hilal and Brazilian superstar Neymar will return to his boyhood club Santos once his tenure at Saudi Pro League ends.
Neymar has experienced a rollercoaster journey since his breakout days at Santos, where he etched his name in the annals of football history with 136 goals in 225 games.

He clinched three league titles and the prestigious Copa Libertadores at Santos which led him into the realms of European football to Barcelona in 2013. However, despite his dazzling success, he left for more glory at PSG. His quest for Champions League glory at Paris Saint-Germain remained unfulfilled following his blockbuster move in 2017 from Barcelona.
Opting for a fresh challenge, Neymar made a surprising move to Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League last summer. However, his time in the Middle East has been marred by misfortune, with two serious injuries disrupting his campaign.
Since joining Al Hilal, Neymar has made only a handful of appearances, raising questions about the success of his move and his ability to make an impact in a new environment. With less than 400 minutes on the field, Neymar's stint at Al Hilal has been far from prolific compared to his illustrious career in European football.
Amidst speculation and rumors surrounding his future, Neymar finds himself at a crossroads as he continues his recovery from injury. Reports suggest that Santos president Marcelo Texeira has held talks with Neymar regarding a potential return to his boyhood club, signaling a possible homecoming for the Brazilian superstar.
“The conversation (with Neymar) was very quick, but it’s always quick conversations that have good effect. To come back and play here, he needs to recover well from injury. He will continue his experience in Saudi Arabia and then come back here,” Marcelo Texeira said.
Despite his current contract with Al Hilal running until 2025, Santos remains vigilant, monitoring Neymar's situation closely. A return to Santos would not only reignite fond memories of his early days but also provide Neymar with an opportunity to reconnect with his roots and recapture the magic that made him a footballing sensation.
As Neymar's saga unfolds, football fans around the world eagerly await the next chapter in the remarkable journey of one of the sport's most captivating figures.
