Neymar uncomfortable to remain in the shadows of Lionel Messi

Neymar feels he cant lose the limelight as he is overshadowed by superstar Lionel Messi at FC Barcelona.

Barcelona, July 19: Just as they say that 'more than one sun cannot remain in the same sky', football is no exception to this. For about a decade, Lionel Messi has been the showstopper at Barcelona, the heartthrob of the team.

The whole team has been built around him but it is not always easy to keep too many superstars happy altogether.

Barcelona star Neymar is reportedly 'uncomfortable' at Barcelona and has been told by associates that he should leave and seek the limelight elsewhere.

The Brazil international joined the Catalan giants in 2013 and has played alongside Lionel Messi, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner who is regarded as one of the greatest players in the world not only in this era but also one of the best in history.

Brazil superstar Neymar has developed into one of the best forwards in Europe during his time with Barcelona but 'Sport' believe he is becoming uncomfortable to be playing second fiddle to Messi, with his advisors telling him to seek a move elsewhere in order to become a club's main man.

The report also claims Neymar has been told “by the side of Messi you will always be second, you will always be in his shadow".

Europe's biggest teams, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Parisn Saint Germain and Real Madrid, all remain interested in signing the former Santos attacker, who has scored 105 goals in 186 appearances for the La Liga side.

Being just 25 years of age, Neymar has a long career ahead of him and right now, he is already one of the best players in the world with a brand value only inferior to Messi and Ronaldo, and Barcelona will do whatever it takes to keep him happy at the Camp Nou.

We have to see what future holds for Barcelona but there is certainly a big chance that Neymar will look to become the lynchpin of the team he plays for which the likes of PSG or Manchester United are prepared to offer him.
