N'Golo Kante tops PSG summer wishlist to replace Thiago Motta

Kolkata, March 13: French capital club Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly made Chelsea star N’Golo Kante their top transfer target for this summer.

French mediahouse Telefoot claims the French club have drawn up a list of midfielders to replace veteran anchorman Thiago Motta and Kante tops that list.

The 26-year-old has been a revelation in the Premier League over the last few years.

The Frenchman became the first-ever player to win two successive Premier League titles with different teams last season.

He was one of the key players for Leicester in their stunning title win and he raised his stocks higher at Chelsea.

Kante continues to add even more to his game under the watchful eye of adoring boss Antonio Conte.

There are question marks surrounding the Italian tactician’s future at the West London club with Chelsea's Champions League qualification hopes at stake.

And with Conte the man who convinced Kante to snub interest from a number of top teams in 2016, there’s a chance he may become unsettled if a new manager is ushered in.

The former Juventus boss has actually been tipped to take charge at PSG this summer after becoming disillusioned with Chelsea’s transfer business.

And he knows it very well that the Blues will ultimately sell any of their biggest names as long as the price is right.

With Thiago Motta set to be replaced, there are very few players in the world who could replace him in the long run and Kante surely ticks all the boxes.

The Frenchman comes with a winner's mentality which PSG need, to put an end to their embarrassing Champions League runs over the past few years.
