Nicolas Jackson has extended his contract with Chelsea until 2033, as confirmed by head coach Enzo Maresca. Initially joining from Villarreal in 2023 on an eight-year deal, Jackson has now committed for an additional two years.
In his debut season at Stamford Bridge, Jackson netted 17 goals across all competitions. His 14 Premier League goals made him Chelsea's second-highest scorer in the league, just behind Cole Palmer. He also converted 11 big chances and created 39 opportunities for his teammates, adding five assists in the Premier League.

Jackson's performance last season was notable for his ability to create and convert chances. He ranked second in converting big chances and third in creating opportunities for Chelsea. His contributions included five assists in the Premier League.
After Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday, Maresca confirmed that a new deal for Jackson was imminent. "I know he's signing a new contract. I'm very happy. Nicolas is doing a fantastic job on and off the ball," Maresca said. "He scored already two goals [this season]. He scored again today. He had another two chances but we are happy with him."

Despite being linked with Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen during the transfer window, Maresca emphasized that the new contract reflects their trust in Jackson. "I have faith, and the club also, even before," he stated. "Not because we were looking for another striker, not that we don't trust Nicolas. We trust Nicolas."
Maresca reiterated his satisfaction with Jackson's performance: "I said last week when the transfer window was still open - he is doing fantastic with us. I am very happy with him."
Jackson is expected to continue being a key player under Maresca's guidance this season, having already scored twice so far.
The forward’s recent performances have solidified his importance to the team, ensuring he remains a central figure at Chelsea.
