No Chelsea agreement for Jann-Fiete Arp, says agent

Arp's agent, Jurgen Milewski, has responded to such claims and suggested that has there is no truth in Arp’s proposed move to Stamford Bridge.

Bengaluru, November 29: Germany U-17 star Jann-Fiete App's agents has dismissed claims that his client has an agreement with Premier League holders Chelsea.

The 17-year-old is regarded as one of Europe's brightest youngsters and is believed to have been regularly monitored by the Blues as well as Premier League sides Arsenal and Manchester City.

All the Premier League side were said to be alerted by Arp's quality when he scored 18 goals in 19 appearances for Germany's Under-17 side and also impressed in Euro Under-17 tournament where he scored two hattricks in four matches.

The German U17 skipper also recently broke a record to become the first player to be born in the 21st century and play in the top tier of the German football league when he made his debut for Hamburg against Werder Bremen in October.

It was understood earlier that talk has intensified in recent weeks and the young striker could be set for a move to Chelsea in the near future with Chelsea continuing to track his progress.

However now, his agent, Jurgen Milewski, has responded to such claims and suggested that has there is no truth in Arp’s proposed move to Stamford Bridge.

'This story has nothing in it,’ Jurgen Milewski told German outlet Bild.

Earlier, Hamburg coach Markus Gisdol also ruled out any possibility of the teenager going to Premier League this season and claimed the youngster is due to sign a contract extension with the Bundesliga side.

"I will not comment on all these pre-Christmas fairytales,” the German boss said.

“Fiete’s contract will not expire tomorrow.

“Jens Todt [sporting director] and Heribert Bruchhagen [chairman] will take the right measures.”

Arp, who has 18 months left on his current contract, has made five appearances for Hamburg’s first team this season and in his limited appearances he has impressed everyone by scoring two goals.
