Arne Slot has confirmed that there are no lingering issues with Mohamed Salah after his return to Liverpool's squad. This assist marked Salah's record-breaking 277th Premier League goal contribution for a single club, surpassing Wayne Rooney's previous record.

Salah had been absent from the squad during Liverpool's midweek match against Inter following his criticism of the club and Slot after a 3-3 draw with Leeds United. However, Slot emphasized that any past comments are now forgotten. "For me, there is no issue to resolve," said the Liverpool manager. "He is now the same as any player."

Slot elaborated on his approach to player management, stating, "You talk to your players if you are happy or unhappy with things, but there is nothing for me to talk about after what happened against Leeds." He stressed that conversations with players like Virgil van Dijk and Salah remain private.
