Odisha FC lost some of their key players in the last transfer window right after the Juggernauts won their maiden title in AIFF Super Cup in Kerala. The side let go the likes of Saul Crespo, Nandhakumar Sekar, Victor Rodriguez, Vinit Rai, and Pedro Martin, who were key members of the club's most successful season.
Odisha FC, however, has made some important acquisitions in Ahmed Jahouh, Roy Krishna, Mourtada Fall, Cy Goddard, Jerry Lalrinzuala and Puitea. The club, most importantly had a big change at the top as they hired famed former FC Goa coach Sergio Lobera.
The club, which is sponsored by the government of Odisha, has begun their season on a sour note with a group stage exit at the Durand Cup 2023 with the Spanish coach yet to take charge of the Bhubaneswar-based club.
