The final whistle blows and Odisha FC are pegged back at home by Mumbai City FC. The Islanders grind put a fantastic 2-2 draw in Bhubaneswar. Mohammed Nawaz made two horrible mistakes which led to the two goals of Odisha, scored by Jerry and Roy Krishna. Mumbai City scored through Griffiths and Jorge Pereyra Diaz.
Rahul Bheke goes up the field and wins the ball. Then his pass is just beyond Pereyra Diaz and Odisha get hold of the ball.
Ahmed Jahou's free kick is cleared by Mumbai. Then a the Islanders' attack fizzles out as Amrinder gets the ball ahead of an attacker.
7 minutes added. Apuia kicked out a Krishna and gets a Yellow Card. That was a deliberate kick and should have been a Red.
Goaaaaaaaaaal!! Jorge Pereyra Diaz scores the goal for the Islanders. Vikram Partap sends in a superb ball and Pereyra made no mistake. He shoulders it in past Amrinder to restore parity.
Roy Krishna makes a mesmerizing turn there. The Fijian turned and bamboozled the Mumbai defenders, but Rahul Bheke just manages to get himself between the ball and Krishna and clears it.
Mumbai City almost managed to sneak in a goal, but Amrinder Singh makes himself big and denies the Mumbai attacker.
Nawaz made another horrible clearance there. The Mumbai keeper was almost being embarrassed there but his horrible kick then loops and comes to his feet only, so that Nawaz could save his blushes.
Two mistakes from Nawaz at the Mumbai goal, and both have ended in goals for Mumbai City. He spilled the ball in the first half, which led to Jerry's goal, now his foul on Krishna gave the Fijian a chance to score from the spot.
Goaaaaaal!! Roy Krishna scores from the spot and gives the Juggernaut's a huge lead.
Roy Krishna is taken down in the box and a penalty is given.
Chhangte's shot is saved superbly by Amrinder.
Odisha are making a substitution. Puitea is Off and Princeton comes On.
Both teams are trying hard to get their noses ahead, but so far it is all squares. Odisha have looked a bit jittery in the last five minutes or so.
What a chance for Mumbai! Tiri headed down across the post but it evades two Mumbai players. The height defeats the two players there and Mumbai fall agonizingly short of taking the lead.
Another excellent move from Mumbai City, but Odisha double up and clear their tracks at the back. Good defending by the home side.
Greg Stewart is deep in the Mumbai defense and then gets fouled by Ahmed Jahouh. Meanwhile, Odisha makes a change as Roy Krishna comes on for Diego Mauricio.
A patient build-up from Odisha FC. Lenny and Jerry combined but his ball is cleared. Mumbai launch a counterattack and Greg Stewart's strike is saved by Amrinder.
Ahmed Jahouh has made the most touches in the match so far with 71. Some of them have been crucial at the defensive line for the Juggernauts.
The score is back in level terms and the pace of the match has slowed down. Jerry tirs to conjure something but his cross towards Mauricio is met by a Mumbai leg.
Another huge chance for Mumbai. A nice cutback towards Roberto Pereyra Diaz but he misses his kick. The ball arrives to Stewart whose shot is blocked.
Goaaaaal!! Mumbai City equalize within two minutes after restart. It is an easy header in from the Islanders defender Rostyn Griffiths and we are level.
Early chance foe Mumbai. Pereyra Diaz teed up Vinit Rai but his shot is superbly blocked by Ahmed Jahouh.

Jerry has scored the simplest goal of the ISL history! A cross from the right and Mumbai City defender tackles it and passes it towards the goalkeeper to collect. But a poor effort from Nawaz, he spills it. The two Mumbai players on the right corner of the post and Jerry just pushes the ball pass the net. Odisha go 1-0 up.
Stewart missed to capitalise on the free kick opportunity by a whisker. The ball goes over the top right corner. Agony for Mumbai.
A corner for Mumbai but they fail to capitalise. A free kick awarded to Odisha moments later but does not create any major issue for Mumbai. The two teams trying hard to get the edge but we are still waiting for the first goal of the night.

The Juggernauts won their first match against Chennaiyin FC and will be hoping to continue their form against the Islanders. Mumbai City started their campaign with a win at Northeast United. The defending ISL Shield Champions will be hoping to come up with a positive result.
