Oil India advances in PSPB soccer tourney

Bangalore, Jan 7 (UNI) Defending Champion Oil India Limited defeated Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) 3-0 in a league match of PSPB Inter Unit Football Tournament here today.

In another match, Numaligarh Refineries Ltd (NRL) defeated Gas Authority of India (GAIL) 2-1. While Rajni Kanta Borah scored a brace for the winners, Dulal Gain reduced the margin for GAIL.

In the last match of the day, Indian Oil Corporation- Assam Oil Division (IOC-AOD) accounted for Engineers India Limited, (EIL) 2-0. Pabon Rajbongshi and Dipankar Phukan scored for the winners.
